MarXana Brand Foods is the only manufacturer and seller of all-natural pomegranate reduction sauces in the United States. The uniqueness of each flavor makes them a perfect finishing sauce or addition to a variety of recipes from salad dressings to desserts.
The inspiration for these sauces was borne out of the publics’ demand for healthier foods. “It is my belief that I have answered that request with one of the most recognized, nutritious and healthy fruits, pomegranate, while maintaining all the healthy attributes that it has to offer,” stated Jules.
Who is MarXana?
MarXana comes from the names of Jules’ two granddaughters. Marlea and Xana. “I felt the names were unique enough to be combined into one that would represent all the naturally-delicious, nutritious goodness the products have to offer,” said Jules. There are six tantalizing flavors in gourmet and specialty stores in the U.S. and Canada in addition to online stores. Jules’ goal is to expand the pomegranate based products into chocolate sauces, salad dressings, and grill sauces within the next several years.
Healthy and Natural are Good Things
The inspiration for these sauces came from the publics demand for foods to be more natural and healthy, and to limit the use of added sweeteners, preservatives, and fillers.
“The prospects for expanding MarXana Brand Foods into more specialty, gourmet and gift food markets looks very bright for the foreseeable future,” says Jules. The public desires are now being recognized by the food community. “Stores, even the larger grocery chains are recognizing the growing demands by foodies and people those becoming more aware of what they eat. They want foods and ingredients that are healthy, new, unique, easy to use, and multipurpose without breaking the bank,” he continues.
“Just think for a second. How many food labels have you seen lately that contain less than three ingredients?” says Jules. “Consider a product that has all the health benefits of a super fruit, contains no sugars or sweeteners, fat-free, vegetarian, contains no added sulfides, is gluten free and has the kids asking for more.
